ABOUT
Lisa Kohn is a Franco-American writer and director living in Paris with a passion for comedy and a gift for finding humor in the darkest situations.
As a TV writer, she has written for comedy and animation series, soaps, true crime, and documentary and non-fiction series. She is currently writing a bibile and pilot scripts for Gaumont animation.
Personal projects include a recently completed short film that she wrote and directed, AU REVOIR BELMONDO. Shot in Paris, it was produced by Respiro Productions and is currently being distributed by Manifest Pictures. Lisa is also developing two comedic feature projects: PARIS, I HATE YOU and UNBRIDALED.
Her award-winning plays have been developed and produced by the Ensemble Studio Theater, IRT, the Lark, New Perspectives Theater Company, and Queens College, among others.
Lisa is a graduate of UCLA Film School (MFA – production) and Stanford University (BA).
